INTRODUCTION

FTo start off my capstone research this summer I read Mumbo Jumbo and Banana Peppers by Peter Wilson.  Mr. Wilson was my 4th grade teacher at Racine Montessori School.  I credit him as a large reason why I decided I want to be a teacher.

I also researched a few other teachers in America, as well as a few of the first people to study education, like Aristotle.

CONCLUSION

There are many things that contribute to being a good teacher, like being adaptable, personable, and knowledgeable, however possibly the most important thing is being able to connect with the students and keep them engaged and wanting to learn in the way that suits them best.

CITATIONS

Thanks to everyone that helped me out with my project- all the teachers I asked numerous questions too, and the students who took time out of their day to work with me.  I couldnt have done all this without you!
